NEW LOUDON, N.H. - The Western New England College men's tennis team had a seven-match winning streak ended after dropping a 5-4 decision at Colby-Sawyer Wednesday afternoon (Apr. 16).
With onematch remaining in the regularseason there is now a three-way tie for second place in The Commonwealth Coast Conference among Colby-Sawyer, Roger Williams, and WNEC. All three teams have 6-2 league records. Salve Regina leads theconference with a 8-0 mark.
Junior Alex Boutin (Bristol, CT) captured his #2 singles match and teamed with senior Ryan Turner (Yorkville, IL) for a win at the #1 doubles position. Turner also captured his #6 singles match.
Western New England College is 10-4 overall while Colby-Sawyer improves to 10-6.
