DUDLEY, Mass. - The Western New England College men's tennis team continued its strong showing with a 9-0 victory over host Nichols on Monday (Apr. 7).

This was the sixth consecutive victory for the Golden Bears and third shutout over a Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent this spring.

Freshmen Mike Jones (Stone Ridge, NY) and Brian Relihan (Orange, CT) captured the #1 doubles match with an exciting 9-8 (7-5 tie-breaker) win over Jack Baker and Tyler McLaughlin. Jones also won his #3 singles flight in a tie-breaker while everyone else won their matches in straight sets.

Coach Jenn Kolins' team is now 9-3 overall and third in the conference with a 5-1 mark.
