SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Freshman middle hitter Kristianna Ibsen (Shelton, CT) had a double-double with 14 kills and 25 assists to lead the Eastern Connecticut State University women's volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Western New England College in a non-league match Thursday afternoon (Sept. 25) at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.

The game scores were 25-13, 25-19, and 25-15.

Freshman outside hitter Molly Rathbun (Hebron, CT) also compiled a double-double with 12 digs and 23 assists.

Freshman setter Samantha Slonski (Griswold, CT) contributed a game high 29 assists for the Warriors who raise their record to 7-5.

This was the first shutout loss of the season for Western New England College.

Junior outside hitter Rachel Cervone (West Springfield, MA) had eight kills and sophomore setter Katharina Boes (Buffalo Grove, IL) 15 assists for the Golden Bears who are now 5-5.
