SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore center Trevor Peltak (Merrimack, NH) netted a pair of goals to lead visiting Becker to a 5-2 victory over Western New England College in an ECAC Northeast men's hockey game Thursday evening (Dec. 3) at Smead Arena.

Freshman forward Branden Parkhouse (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) added a goal and assist for the Hawks who improved their record to 3-5-1 overall and 2-2 in the league. 

Freshman forward Ron Pavia (Rehoboth, MA) added a goal and assist while sophomore forward Robert Johnson (Fenton, MI) contributed two assists.

Sophomore goalie Jake Rosenthal (Wantagh, NY) compiled 36 saves in a strong performance.

Becker led 4-0 in the second period before the Golden Bears tallied both their goals in a 4:30 span on shots by sophomore forwards Mike Kaselouskas (East Longmeadow, MA) and Kory Grahl (San Diego, CA). 

Freshman forward Chris Stearns (Colchester, VT) assisted on the first WNEC goal while sophomore forward Rory Hansen (Noblesville, IN) had the assist on the second goal. Junior goalie Justin Richards (Somers, CT) finished with 23 saves.

Western New England College falls to 0-7-1 overall and 0-3 in the ECAC Northeast.
