LEICESTER, Mass. -- The Western New England College women's basketball team shot 58.1% from the field and had six players score in double figures in cruising to a 92-40 victory Becker in a non-conference contest Saturday afternoon (Dec. 5).
Senior guard
Kailah Al-Darraji (Dover, NH) led the Golden Bears with 15 points after making 7-of-11 field-goal attempts.
Freshman center
Elena Radzikowski (Medway, MA) added 13 points, seven rebounds, and a pair of blocks coming off the bench.
Junior guard
Loren Stock (Rocky Hill, CT) fired in 13 points while senior forward
Caitlin Powers (Scotia, NY) and freshman guard
Emily Savino (Ellington, CT) each contributed 12 points. Savino also had six rebounds, six assists, and five steals.
Freshman guard
Shelby Van Huysen (Killingworth, CT) chipped-in with 11 points and five assists.
The Golden Bears' reserves totaled 46 points and shot 56.7% from the field (17-for-30).
Western New England College led 51-24 at halftime and held the Hawks (0-5) to only 25.5% shooting from the floor.
