BOSTON, Mass. - Senior forward
Jeff Olitch (Calgary, AB) scored two power play goals, the last coming with 1:42 left in the third period as No. 16 Wentworth Institute of Technology held off upset-minded Western New England College 3-1 in an ECAC Northeast men's hockey game Sunday (Jan. 31) at Matthews Arena.
The Leopards, who improved their record to 15-2-1, are second in the league with a 7-1 mark.

The Leopards finally broke through when Olitch knotted the score at 12:30 of the middle period.

Shaun Jameson (Long Beach, CA) scored on an empty goal with 23 seconds left in the contest. He also earned the assists on both of Olitch's goals.
Western New England College received a great performance from freshman goalie
T.J. Fatse (Hampden, MA) who turned away 39 shots. The Golden Bears also won 40-of-79 face-offs.
