SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Roger Williams women's volleyball team picked up its eighth consecutive victory with a 3-0 win over Western New England College on Wednesday night (Oct. 13) in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) competition.

The Hawks improve to 21-3 with a perfect 7-0 mark in TCCC play; the Golden Bears fall to 8-12 with a 4-2 conference record.

Senior middle hitter Rebekah Dion (Old Saybrook, CT) had a double-double with 11 kills and 12 digs for the Hawks.

Sophomore setter Emily Lebowitz (Coventry, CT) added 37 assists, and senior libero Jill Hurd (Sunapee, NH) contributed 16 digs.

Western New England College freshman outside hitter Maureen Pollet (Dix Hills, NY) compiled 10 kills.

Senior setter Katharina Boes (Buffalo Grove, IL) dished out 22 assists and senior libero Marci Egbert (Wayne, NJ) chipped-in with 16 digs.

The Golden Bears return to action on Saturday (Oct. 16) as they host Elmira at 11:00 a.m. and WPI at 3:00 p.m. during Family & Friends weekend.
