MARLBOROUGH, Mass. - Sophomore forward David Graham (Rancho Cucamongo, CA) scored the game-winner with 1:37 remaining in the game as the Becker men's hockey team rallied for a 3-2 victory over Western New England College in an ECAC Northeast contest Wednesday (Dec. 1) at the New England Sports Center.

Trailing by a goal entering the third period, the Hawks tied the game when junior forward Brian Murray (Manalapan, NJ) fired in a shot at the 16:56 mark. Graham then delivered the winning shot just 87 seconds later.

Becker took a 1-0 lead on a goal by sophomore forward Mark Lotito (Staten Island, NY at 8:12 of the opening period. Lotito and Murray also had assists in the game while freshman forward Dan Kane (Staten Island, NY) contributed a pair of assists.

WNEC tied the game when junior forward Rory Hansen (Noblesville, IL) scored on a power play goal at 17:13 with assists from freshman defenseman Cam Napolitan (East Longmeadow, MA) and freshman forward Chris Connors (Albany, NY).

The Golden Bears went ahead when Hansen hit the back of the net at 16:56 of the second stanza with an assist from junior forward Kory Grahl (San Diego, CA).

Junior goalie Jake Rosenthal (Wantagh, NY) compiled 24 saves for the Hawks while freshman Eric Sorenson (Rochester, NY) stopped 31 shots in a fine performance.

Becker improves to 3-4-2 overall and 2-0-2 in the ECAC Northeast. Western New England College is now 3-3-1 and 1-2 in league play.
