SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Roger Williams men's tennis team defeated Western New England College 8-1 Tuesday afternoon (Apr. 6) to remain undefeated in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC).

The Hawks are now 8-6 overall and 5-0 in the conference while the Golden Bears drop to 3-6 and 2-2 in the league.

Sophomore Jeff DeNunzio (Barrington, RI) led the visitors with a win at number one singles. He teamed with freshman Jason Pacino (North Reading, MA) to take their number two doubles match.

Western New England College's only win came at number one doubles when juniors Brian Relihan (Orange, CT) and Mike Jones (Stone Ridge, NY) teamed for an 8-4 victory.
