SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Rhode Island College women's volleyball team came away with a 3-1 win against Western New England College in non-conference action on Wednesday night (Sept. 15) at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.

The game scores were 25-20, 17-25, 25-21, and 25-13.

Rhode Island College was led by sophomore outside hitter Breanna Boyer (West Greenwich, RI) who posted a double-double of 16 kills and 14 digs. 

Sophomore middle blocker Kalyn Archer (Warwick, RI) contributed nine kills and four blocks, while classmate Jessica Ho (Providence, RI) had 41 assists.

Senior setter Katharina Boes (Buffalo Grove, IL) had 29 assists and seven digs for the Golden Bears.

Rhode Island College improves to 6-6 on the year, while Western New England College falls to 2-8.

The Golden Bears return to the court on Saturday (Sept. 18) as they begin conference play with a tri-match against host Gordon and Salve Regina.
