Endicott tops Western New England 3-0 to remain perfect in Commonwealth Coast Conference

BEVERLY, Mass. - Freshman outside hitter Alexandra Gearin (Los Angeles, CA) compiled 11 kills, seven digs, and four service aces to lead the Endicott women's volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Western New England Saturday afternoon (Oct. 1) in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) match. The set scores were 25-19, 25-12, and 25-22.

The Gulls raised their record to 8-9 and remained unbeaten in the CCC at 3-0. The Golden Bears fall to 6-8 and 1-2 in the conference.

Junior libero Ashley Norley (Sudbury, MA) added 17 digs and senior setter Sarah Allshouse (Berthoud, CO) contributed 28 assists in the win.

For the Golden Bears, sophomore middle hitter Tyler Singh (Dumont, NJ) and freshman outside hitter Kasey Cameron (Reading, MA) each recorded seven kills.

Senior right side hitter Inna Sergeychik (West Springfield, MA) chipped-in with four kills, seven digs, and five service aces.

Freshman libero Grace Kucharski (Avon, CT) had 12 digs while junior setter Heather Mears (Amherst, MA) had 11 assists.
