ORLANDO, Fla. - The Western New England men's tennis team ended a successful trip to Florida with a 6-3 victory over the College of Staten Island Thursday afternoon (Mar. 17).

The Golden Bears (3-2) took two of the three doubles matches as senior co-captains Brian Relihan (Orange, CT) and Mike Jones (Stone Ridge, NY) posted an 8-4 decision at the top flight.

Sophomore Chris Holzinger (Foster, RI) and junior JonPaul Ouellette (Bethlehem, CT) picked-up a key point by rallying for a 9-8 (7-1) at number two doubles.

The Golden Bears captured four singles matches to run their win streak to three and heading home with momentum.

This was the first loss in three outings for the Dolphins.
