PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Western New England women's volleyball team never got untracked in dropping a 3-0 decision at Rhode Island College in a non-conference outing Thursday evening (Sept. 22) at The Murray Center. The set scores were 25-16, 25-11, and 25-18.
Junior outside hitter
Breanna Boyer (West Greenwich, RI) led the Anchorwomen with 11 kills and seven digs. She also had a .345 hitting percentage.
Sophomore outside hitter
Amanda Cabral (Riverside, RI) contributed nine kills and eight digs while junior setter
Jessica Ho (Providence, RI) added 24 assists.
Western New England sophomore outside hitter
Maureen Pollet (Dix Hills, NY) had a team-high eight kills. Freshman outside hitter
Kasey Cameron (Reading, MA) compiled six kills.
Also for the Golden Bears, freshman libero
Grace Kucharski (Avon, CT) chipped-in with nine digs. Junior setter
Heather Mears (Amherst, MA) dished out 18 assists.
Western New England drops to 5-6 while Rhode Island College improves to 4-6.
