John Kelly (Staten Island, NY) scored the game-winner with four seconds left as the Western New England men's hockey team rallied for a dramatic 4-3 victory over Becker during Pink the Rink night at the New England Sports Center Tuesday evening (Feb. 1).
The Golden Bears, who had scored only two goals in their last two outings, return to the .500 mark at 10-10 and improve to 5-4 in the ECAC Northeast. The Hawks drop to 8-11-1 and 3-6 in league play.
Trailing 3-2, Western New England tallied two goals in the final 1:49 getting the equalizer when freshman forward
Brandon Stroud (Clarksville, IN) found the net at 18:11 with assists from freshman defenseman
Aaron Ziegler (Schwonksville, PA) and sophomore forward

Connors and Stroud also teamed up for the assists on the winning goal.
Neither team scored in the opening period before the hosts went ahead 1-0 on a power play goal by freshman defenseman
