DUDLEY, Mass.--The Western New England University women's tennis team lost 9-0 at Nichols College in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at the Francis W. Robinson Courts on Saturday. The Golden Bears drop to 2-6 overall, including 1-4 in CCC play, while the first-place Bison improve to 7-4 overall and 4-0 in the conference.

Ashley Lauricella made her singles debut at No. 6 and gave Kasie Chapin all she could handle in a 7-6, 6-1 loss.
The No. 2 Golden Bears doubles team of
Alysha Lesieur and
Gillian Adams led 7-4 but were unable to close out the match in a 9-7 loss to Jillian McQuiggan and Michelle Keklik.
Western New England concludes its current three-match road swing on Tuesday when it travels to Milton to take on CCC foe Curry at 3:30 p.m.
