"Winning the Invitational to stay undefeated on the season is a nice accomplishment for our team," said second-year coach Bret Stothart, who has directed the Golden Bears to their best start since the 2007 team went 8-0. "Our great team chemistry continues to lift our game as everyone on our roster is contributing in so many positive ways. We are definitely having fun as a group and we will enjoy this tournament championship knowing we still have a lot of work ahead of us. These matches helped us learn more about our strengths and our weaknesses on the court, so we'll talk about those as a group and focus on improving both as we head into practice next week."
