Kasey Cameron Powers Golden Bears to Sweep at Johnson & Wales 25-13, 26-24, 25-18

Box Score PROVIDENCE, R.I.--The Western New England University volleyball team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 25-13, 26-24, 25-18 non-conference victory Wednesday over host Johnson & Wales University at the Wildcat Center. J&W remains winless at 0-5 after tonight's home opener.

Kasey Cameron, who is coming off Most Valuable Player accolades at the Wheaton College Lyons Invitational over the weekend, continues her torrid pace for WNE with a match-high 12 kills and team-best .407 attack percentage, in which she committed just one error in 27 total attempts. Carolyn Hajdusek came off the bench to add nine kills and .300 hitting, and freshman setter Jessica Sincero matched her career high with 20 assists to go along with 12 digs.

Johnson & Wales was led by junior Ashley Rey with six kills and three digs while senior Kasey Higgins added 10 set assists and four digs for the Wildcats, who were held to a .085 attack percentage.

The visitors came out of the first set with a solid .371 attack percentage to set the tone offensively.

Western New England, which had 42 kills to 28 for the Wildcats, also played well defensively by getting to 62 digs--led by 18 from Grace Kucharski.
