BEVERLY, Mass.--First-place Endicott College proved to be too much for the visiting Western New England University women's tennis team as the three-time defending Commonwealth Coast Conference champion Gulls blanked the Golden Bears 9-0 on Saturday. Endicott improves to 4-1 overall, including 3-0 in the CCC, while the Golden Bears fall to 4-2 and 1-2 after seeing their three-match win streak come to an end.
Western New England's next outing will be at crosstown rival Springfield College (4 p.m.) in a non-CCC match.
