Nick DeFeo (5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals) had 12 for the Golden Bears, who held the RWU offense to a .259 shooting percentage from the field and outrebounded the Hawks, 52-43.

Both teams traded baskets back and forth before junior

The Hawks managed to cut into the deficit, with McCourt laying in a shot to make it a 22-27 game, with 1 minute and 44 seconds left in the half, but the Golden Bears closed out the period with six straight points to go into halftime up 33-22.
In the second half, WNE maintained its double-digit advantage for most of the period. The Hawks briefly brought the game back within single digits, with a three-pointer by Conor O'Brien pulling RWU within eight (34-42) with 14:37 to play.
Yet the Golden Bears countered with eight straight points in just over a minute to double their advantage. From there, the Hawks never came closer than 12 with WNE cruising to its biggest margin of victory on the road since crushing New England College, 88-58, on Feb. 6, 2010.
