DUDLEY, MA - Fifth-seeded Western New England fell to fourth-seeded Nichols 5-0 in a first-round match of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Tennis Championship Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 6).
The Golden Bears dropped all three of their doubles matches and two singles before the match was completed per league rules giving the first team to reach five points the victory.
Still, it was a fine showing for Coach
Jennifer Kolins' squad who finished with a 6-5 record in the fall portion of their schedule.
Nichols improved to 8-5 and advances to the CCC semfinals Thursday at Endicott.
