BEVERLY, Mass. (February 17, 2016) - Seven different players scored as the Endicott College men's ice hockey team posted a 7-0 victory over Western New England University this evening in Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast action at Raymond Bourque Arena.

Western New England trailed just 2-0 after two periods, before the Gulls pulled away with five goals in the third. Freshman goaltender
Kevin Gollmer (Flourtown, Pa.) made 39 saves in 50:36 of action for the Golden Bears, while sophomore
Scott Brown (Sewickley, Pa.) finished the game in net, stopping 11 shots in his third appearance of the season.

Freshman
Parker Wood (Rochester Hills, Mich.) opened the scoring 1:16 into the first period with the help of assists from classmates
Colin Powell (Easton, Conn.) and
Ross Olsson (Billerica, Mass.), and freshman
Joseph Slovak (South Yarmouth, Mass.) doubled Endicott's lead at the 8:21 mark of the frame.

Gollmer, who made 16 saves over the opening 20 minutes, stopped all 14 shots that he faced in the second period, but the Golden Bears were unable to cut into their deficit.

Endicott struck again one minute into the third period on freshman
Thomas Daniels' (St. Louis, Mo.) fifth of the season, and the Gulls tacked on four more goals over the remainder of the contest. Freshman
Kevin Aldridge (Beverly Hills, Mich.) made 34 saves for Endicott, earning his second career shutout.

Tyler Pionk (Hermantown, Minn.) led Western New England with nine faceoff wins, while senior
Chris Lembo (Southington, Conn.) finished with a team-high eight shots on goal.

Western New England (2-18-4, 1-12-2 ECAC NE) wraps up its 2015-16 campaign with a senior day contest against Becker College on Saturday at 1:40 p.m., while Endicott (14-8-2, 10-4-1 ECAC NE) travels to Curry for its regular season finale.ÂÂ
