HILTON HEAD, S.C. (March 17, 2017) – The Western New England University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Asbury (Ky.) University in its spring trip finale on Friday.

Freshman Morgan Schrader (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) won her opening set at No. 3 singles over Sarah Beth Alford, before falling by a 2-6, 6-2, 10-5 score. The freshman also lost a close 8-6 decision at No. 1 doubles along with junior Lauren Sell (Milford, Conn.).

Western New England drops to 8-6 with the loss, while Asbury improves to 3-2 on the season.
