Box Score MILTON, Mass. (October 9, 2021) – The Golden Bears women's tennis team hit the road earlier today to take on conference foe Curry and earned their second win of the 2021 season 7-2.

How It Happened:
Western New England opened the match with two wins in doubles. Janet Martinelli and Kaylin Gibbons remained in control most of their match at the number two and won 8-1. Jennifer Arling and Hailey MacDonald dominated in their match at the number three not allowing their opponents any points to win 8-0 and give the Golden Bears a 2-1 advantage headed into singles.
Arriana Hasiuk opened the singles play wins at the number two holding her own to defeat her opponent 6-0 and 7-6. This momentum carried to the rest of the team with Eiren Klesczewski winning her match at number three 6-0, 6-0 followed by Sydney Lewis defeating her opponent at the number four 6-1 and 7-5. Arling earned another victory in the match at the number five winning 6-3 and 6-0 while Michelle McDermott won her match at the number six 6-2 and 6-1. The Golden Bears dominant play earned them their second victory of 2021 7-2.
