SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (October 13, 2021) – The Western New England women's tennis team ended regular season competitions against Salve Regina where the Seahawks won 7-2.

How It Happened:
The Seahawks opened the match strong winning all three doubles matches to head into singles with a 3-0 lead in the match. In singles, the Seahawks won the number one match before the Golden Bears amped up the offense at the number two position. Arriana Hasiuk defeated her opponent 6-3 and 6-2 along with Sydney Lewis taking her opponent to three sets at the number five. Lewis dropped the first set 6-3 and then rallied to win the second set 6-3 and took the third set to a 10-7 victory. The Golden Bears were unable to win any other singles match and dropped the final match of the regular season 7-2 to the Seahawks.
