DUDLEY, Mass. (April 22, 2021) – The Western New England University women's volleyball team fell in five sets in their season opener at Nichols on Thursday evening.

Nichols 3 – Western New England 2: 27-25, 13-25, 25-22, 14-25, 15-11

The Golden Bears had 54 total kills, 75 digs, and 16 service aces.

Sophomore Sarah Scott had 15 kills and 10 digs, while first-year Olivia Hall had six kills, three service aces, and 12 digs. Senior Hailey McDonnell chipped in eight kills while first-year Nina Sullivan and junior Caleigh McDermott chipped in five and four service aces, respectively.
