SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (September 25, 2021) – The Golden Bears hosted their first home match of the season for a conference match up against Gordon where Western New England fell 7-2.

- Western New England: 1-3, 1-3 CCC
How It Happened:
The match opened by Gordon winning the number one and number two doubles positions. Hailey MacDonald and Jennifer Arling won at the number three spot 8-6 to put the Golden Bears within one after the doubles matches.
In singles, Michelle McDermott earned the only win for the Golden Bears at the number six where she defeated her opponent 6-1 and 6-2. The rest of the Golden Bears fell short and Western New England dropped the match 7-2.
