Box Score HILTON HEAD, South Carolina (March 13, 2022) – The Western New England men's tennis team dropped their first spring contest of the season, falling to Shepard University by a final score of 6-3.
How it Happened:
First year Nick Bayer and Senior Max Gordon picked up a doubles victory over Jospeh Michael and Yuto Shimotsuki by a final score of 10-8. Sebastian Smreczak and Michael Robichaud would compete in doubles action while Casey VanDenBossche and Brandon Greger would get a walkover victory for WNE.
In singles action, Nick Bayer, Max Gordon, Sebastian Smreczak, Michael Robichaud, and Brandon Greger would all compete for Western New England, while Ryan Zable would pick up a forfeit victory, the third win of the match for the Golden Bears. WNE would fall in the match to Shepard by a final score of 6-3.
