Box Score WENHAM, Mass. (April 21, 2022) – The Western New England men's tennis team took another CCC loss on the road against the Gordon College Fighting Scots for a final match score of 6-3, bringing their CCC record 2-3.

How it Happened:
Nick Bayer and Max Gordon keeping up with their victorious doubles play gave the Golden Bears their first win with an 8-5 finish against Gordon's Ezekiel Hall and Mark Noschese. Paul Riccio and Brandon Greger fell to John Marineau and Alex Ryzi 8-3 in the doubles action, and Michael Robichaud and Kevin Sharpe made it a close one but also lost 9-7 to the Fighting Scots Nathan Gonzalez and Adrian Thomas. This gave Gordon a 3-1 advantage after the double matches.
After his doubles win, Nick Bayer struggled against Ezekiel Hall losing 6-0, 6-0. Max Gordon and Brandon Greger had the only singles wins. Max Gordon dominated with a 6-0, 6-1 final, and Brandon Greger made it an entertaining one, coming down to three. He got it done against Alex Ryzi with 3-6 (6-3) 10-4 results. Kevin Sharpe, Michael Robichaud, and Paul Riccio all fell to their opponents in the singles match, concluding with a 6-3 score and a loss for the Golden Bears.
