SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (September 14, 2022) – The Western New England women's tennis team opened their 2022 Fall season on their home court, the Volvo Outdoor Tennis Arena, against the Nichols College Bison. The Golden Bears fell to the Bison 9-0.

How it Happened:

The Golden Bears were unable to come up with a doubles victory on the day, going 0-3. Aliza McLeish and Arriana Hasiuk had a battle in the beginning, falling 8-2. The other doubles teams both came up short, 8-0.

In singles action, the Golden Bears lost 6-0. The closes battle was Arriana Hasiuk, but she was still defeated 6-2, 6-2. Dani Martinez's first match was a battle, ultimately falling 6-3. She lost the second 6-0.
