SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (October 9, 2023) – The Western New England women's tennis team fell on home court in CCC play on Monday afternoon, falling 8-1 to the Hawks of Roger Williams University.

- Roger Williams University: 10-3, 3-2 CCC
How it Happened:
WNE would not be able to collect a win in doubles action after the Hawks would take the opening three points of the match.
Emma Miller would come away with the lone win in singles action for the Golden Bears after taking a retirement victory, taking a 0-6, 6-5 victory to get Western New England on the board. The Golden Bears would come up short in other singles action, dropping the match to RWU by a final score of 8-1.
