HENNIKER, N.H. (November 11, 2023) – The Western New England women's wrestling team came away with their first victory of the 2023-2024 season on Saturday, defeating New England College by a final score of 25-15, picking up their second dual win in program history. 

Highlights:

• Victoria Orender came away with a victory in the 123 lb. weight class, defeating Olivia Delegas via fall. 
• Janieliz Cotto took a forfeit victory in the 130 lb. weight class. Linda Holeman and Kendall Branchaud followed with a forfeit victories in the 136 lb. and 155 lb. weight classes.
• Mikayla Maloy took down Rebecca Eaton via fall for the Golden Bears, securing the victory for the blue and gold in the match. 
• Western New England head coach Tyler Keane earns his first dual-match victory in his head coaching career with WNE.
