SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (February 17, 2026) – Nine members of the Western New England women's wrestling team have been ranked regionally in the latest NCAA Women's Individual Regional Rankings, released last Thursday afternoon. Of those nine, two are ranked at the top of their respective weight classes,
Linda Holeman (124 lbs.) and
Tanya Teneva (138 lbs.).
In the 110 lb. weight class, WNE's
Victoria Orender sits third in the regional rankings. Orender has 17 wins in 24 matches for the Golden Bears this season. Orender's season has been highlighted by a second-place finish at the Will Abele Invitational, going 3-1 at the event.
The 117 lb. weight class sees Western New England's
Maddie Ripley sit second overall. Ripley has had a dominant first campaign for the Golden Bears, going 22-2 on the season, with multiple wins over ranked opponents. Ripley shined at the NWCA National Duals event, going a perfect 4-0. The Owls Head, Maine, native also earned a first-place finish at 117 lbs. at the Will Abele Invitational. Ripley is also nationally ranked in the weight class, sitting 17
th in
The Open Matnational ranks.
Linda Holeman sits first at 124 lbs. in the latest regional rankings. Holeman took down Tati Walker of Sacred Heart University, a two-time national qualifier, coming up with a 10-0 technical fall win. Holeman is 22-3 on the mat this season, also earning a first-place finish in the weight class at the Will Abele Invitational. Holeman also ranks 16

WNE's
Jazmene Molina sits second in the regional rankings in the 131 lb. weight class. Molina has 17 wins for the Golden Bears in her first season in Blue and Gold after transferring from Utica University. Molina placed third at The New Standard Invitational this season in the weight class and has ripped off four wins in a row on the mat. Molina ranks 13
th overall in

Tanya Teneva sits first in the 138 lb. weight class for Western New England, going 24-5 on the mat this season. Teneva took third at The New Standard Invitational earlier this season as well as a third-place finish at the Will Abele Invitational in January. Teneva ranks 13
th nationally in
The Open Mat rankings.
Sanyah Queen sits fourth in the regional rankings in the 145 lb. weight class. Queen has nine wins in 14 matches this season for the Golden Bears. Queen's season has been highlighted by a third-place finish at The New Standard Invitational in December, winning four of her five matches overall.
In the 160 lb. weight class, Western New England sees
Sky De Leon take second in the latest regional rankings. De Leon has 17 victories in 20 matches this year. The Sunnyvale, California, native picked up three victories for WNE at the 2026 NWCA National Duals event and took gold at The New Standard Invitational this season.
Atiyana Williams sits second overall in the regional rankings inside the 180 lb. weight class. Williams was the weight class champion at the Will Abele Invitational in January to highlight the sophomore's season. Williams was also recently ranked nationally in the weight class by
The Open Mat, sitting 19
th overall.
Samantha Rabkin is regionally ranked in the 207 lb. weight class for the Golden Bears, sitting fifth overall. The Western New England sophomore has earned ten wins this season on the mat, including four of those at the Will Abele Invitational, where the Sharon, Massachusetts, native took a fifth-place finish at the event.
The Western New England women's wrestling team looks ahead to this weekend's NCAA Regional Championships in Elmira, New York, where the Blue and Gold will look to qualify for the NCAA National Championships.
