How it Happened:

The Gulls would soar back quickly, grabbing four straight points to take a 5-3 lead over the blue and gold. Endicott would control the lead at 10-7 before Western New England would come back with five of six points to take their first lead since the early goings of the contest when Leah Warren spiked one to the floor, giving the Golden Bears a 12-11 lead. A back-and-forth first set would see Endicott storm ahead in the end, taking seven of ten points to come away with a 25-21 victory.

The Gulls used their momentum from the first set and took it into the second set to take nine of the first 12 points in the set to lead early, 9-3. WNE would storm back, with Alissa Hawes recording three kills in four points to get the Golden Bears back within two points of a tie. Play would go back and forth until the Gulls came away with four straight to take a 17-11 lead. Endicott would run away with the second set to take a 25-19 win in set two.

Yemayma Molina and Isabella Procida would grab points for WNE in the early goings to take the 3-1 lead.
