BEVERLY, Mass. (April 3, 2023) – The Western New England men's tennis team battled tightly with the Gulls of Endicott College on Monday afternoon before falling in conference play by a final score of 9-0.

How it Happened:
The Gulls got off to a roaring start, taking the doubles #3 match 8-3 and the doubles #2 match 8-5. Western New England's Nick Bayer and Brandon Greger would battle in the doubles #1 match, taking the match to a tiebreaker before falling 8-7 (7-3) as the Gulls took the 3-0 lead in the match.

In singles action, Endicott would take the first three singles matches over Greger, Michael Robichaud and Thomas Roche. Tyler Macdowall would battle in the fourth singles position, winning the first set 6-3 before dropping the final two sets 3-6, and 6-7, 5-10. Paul Riccio would battle in the second set for WNE before dropping a hard-fought decision.
