SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 3, 2023) – The Western New England men's golf team had a late addition to their 2023 schedule, facing Springfield College for the third time in six days, this time in another dual match, as Springfield College would come away with the 4.5-1.5 victory. 

How it Happened:

WNE would win just one match on Wednesday afternoon as sophomore Benjamin Eskin defeated Springfield's Finn Welch 1 up. Eskin recorded 12 pars on the afternoon to pace the way to victory for Western New England. 
Senior Ryne Salius collected a birdie on hole seven as Nick DeMaio of Springfield College would get the score back on Salius, as the two would collect an even square match to earn a half point each. 

Also competing for Western New England on the afternoon was Jeremy Burke, Dylan Fortunato, Robert DeFeo and Ryan Schlehuber, who all could not come up with victories for Western New England on the day.
