SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (January 27, 2024) – The Western New England men's wrestling team battled with the Bears of Bridgewater State, the Panthers of Plymouth State, and the Hawks of Roger Williams University, taking two of three matches on the afternoon.
How it Happened (vs. Plymouth State):
The Golden Bears won nine of ten matches over the Panthers on their way to a 51-4 victory.

Less than one week removed from facing the same Hawks at the NEWA Duals, the Golden Bears would improve from their 34-12 defeat, dropping a close 23-21 contest to the Hawks this time around. The Golden Bears would claim wins in the 141 lb. weight class, 149 lb. weight class, 157 lb. weight class, 165 lb. weight class, and 285 lb. weight class, though the Hawks would come away with that final win of the afternoon to take the victory in the dual match over the Golden Bears.
