SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (October 1, 2024) – The Western New England women's tennis team fell in their fourth conference match of the season, this time dropping a 7-0 decision to the visiting Gulls of Endicott College.

How it Happened:
In doubles action, the Golden Bears would not be able to pick up the opening point of the match, seeing the Gulls sweep the doubles section.
Sydney Shepard and
Malina Dinis would drop a 6-2 contest in the top doubles spot,
Kayla Ledoux and
Yasmine Giacalone would fall 6-1 in the second spot, while
Leina Salomon and
Kelsey Wyse would drop the third doubles spot in straight action, 6-0.
In singles play, the Golden Bears would fight, though would drop the match in two sets in all six matches.
Malina Dinis picked up two points in the opening set of the second singles spot, though would fall 6-2, 6-0.
Gabrielle Tirkot would also pick up two points in the opening set of the singles #4 match, though would fall 6-2, 6-0. The Golden Bears would drop 18
th straight match to the Gulls overall, having not defeated Endicott in their program history since 2007.
