Emma Miller recorded victories in both singles and doubles action for the Golden Bears in Tuesday afternoon's loss to the Bees of Saint Ambrose University on a 7-2 score.

The Golden Bears came away with a victory in the opening double round in position one when
Emma Miller and
Jessica Cofrancesco teamed up to record a thrilling 8-7 (7-3) victory to grab WNE their first victory of the spring.
Catie Seklecki and
Sydney Shepard would nearly have the second victory in doubles play for Western New England, though would ultimately fall short, 8-3.
In singles action, three of six matches would go the distance, seeing
Jessica Cofrancesco,
Catie Seklecki, and
Sydney Shepard play all three sets, though would all come up just short on what could have been a match-turner should the results have flipped.
Emma Miller recorded a victory in straight sets for the Golden Bears, defeating Saint Ambrose 6-3, 6-2 in straight sets. The Golden Bears would battle hard down the stretch, though they would fall on a 7-2 count.
