DUDLEY, Mass. (April 21, 2024) – The Western New England men's tennis team dropped a conference match to the CCC's undefeated Bison of Nichols College, falling 9-0 on Sunday afternoon.
How it Happened:
The Golden Bears would compete in the top two doubles spots, as
Nick Bayer and
Brandon Greger would fall by a score of 8-3, while
Henry Runyan and
Michel Abizaid Nunez dropped an 8-4 contest in the second spot.
Nick Bayer went the distance in the opening set of the first singles match against Nichols' Leon Zeis, though would eventually fall 7-6 (6-3), 6-0.
Brandon Greger would also compete in the singles three position, falling 7-5, 6-3. The Golden Bears would not be able to come away with a match victory, falling in straight sets, 9-0.
