Beverly, Mass. (May 10, 2024) – The Golden Bears traveled to Beverly, Massachusetts, for the third day of the CCC Tournament. WNE faced Wentworth Institute of Technology in the winner's bracket game, with the winner going to the Championship game. The Leopards took a 1-0 lead early. It was answered by three Golden Bear runs between the second and fourth innings. The Leopards responded with three runs in the fourth to take a 4-3 lead. WNE would rally with three runs in the top of the seventh inning to win 6-4. Alex Ferriouolo led the Golden Bears at the plate by going 3-for-4 with the game-winning RBI. Evelyn Picone got the win in the pitching circle for the Golden Bears by pitching four innings, letting up just three hits and no earned runs.

The Leopards started Jess Rowe in the pitching circle on Friday. Outside of walking one batter, Rowe would handle the Golden Bear batters with ease. Riley Kane would pitch for the Golden Bears. With two outs and runners on first and second, Kelsey Medalia hit a single into right-center field. That brought Jess Rowe home, and the Leopards led 1-0 after the first inning. The Golden Bears answered when Shea McDaniel bunted with two outs. McDaniel got on via a throwing error, and Alex Ferriouolo scored. Kane got the Leopards out one, two, three in the second, and the score was tied at one after two innings of play. Both pitchers sat the opposing batters down in order in the third inning. Then, in the fourth inning, Lizzie Weston reached base on an error, which brought Madison Mason home. Then, Marley Rodriguez would reach first on a fielder's choice, and Alex Ferriouolo scored to make the score 3-1. In the bottom of the inning, Ava Blanchard would enter the game as the pitcher after the first two batters got on base. Then, with the bases loaded, Katie Kranz singled and brought Annabelle Hebard home. The next batter, Brianna Miller, slapped a single into left field. That brought Kelsey Medalia home to tie the game at three. Evelyn Picone then entered the game as the pitcher for the Golden Bears. Katelin Howe would hit a single up the middle to bring Sydney Miccile home and give the Leopards the 4-3 lead. Picone would get out of the inning after an out, and the defense turned a double play.
Julie Schriver then entered as the pitcher for the Leopards. The Golden Bears had two on, with two out in the top of the fifth inning; however, Schriver would get the final out. Picone would sit the Leopards down one, two, three in the bottom of the inning. The Golden Bears got one runner on base in the top of the sixth but could not get the runner home. The Leopards did the same in the bottom of the inning, with no runs scoring either. Then, with the Golden Bears down to their final three outs, Taylor Keegan got a rally started with a leadoff single. After having two runners on with no outs, Schriver got the next two Golden Bears to fly out. However, the second flyout was from Madison Mason, and it allowed Taylor Keegan to score and tie the game at four. Alex Ferriouolo was the next batter, and Ferriouolo hit a double, which scored Gracie Hemstock. Then, Lizzie Weston hit a single to score Ferriouolo, and the Golden Bears led 6-4. In the bottom of the seventh, the Leopards would get a runner on base with two outs; however, Picone got the final out, and the Golden Bears won the game 6-4.

- Jess Rowe pitched four innings, letting up two hits and one earned run. Julie Schriver pitched three innings, letting up no earned runs and striking out two batters.
- Riley Kane pitched three innings for the Golden Bears, letting up two earned runs and striking out one batter. Ava Blanchard let up one earned run and two hits.
- Evelyn Picone pitched four innings, letting up two hits, no earned runs, and struck out one batter to win the game for the Golden Bears.
- The Golden Bears beat the Leopards 6-4.
