Bonin Named To CNE Community Service Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 12, 2025) – Western New England women's volleyball junior Morgan Bonin has been named to the Conference of New England Community Service Team, announced on today's postseason awards list.

Bonin, a native of Woodstock, Connecticut, is heavily involved in the Western New England community, especially within the women's volleyball program, leading by example. Yearly, the WNE women's volleyball team puts on the "Dig Pink" match, aimed at bringing awareness to breast cancer and the research behind it. Bonin is a big part of organizing and pulling off the yearly match for the Golden Bears. The Golden Bears also hosted a Suicide Prevention match in 2023, which Bonin was able to spearhead.

Outside of the courts, Bonin has been involved in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the last two years, being a representative for the women's volleyball program as well as Western New England as a whole.

This season, Bonin played in 25 matches, playing in 84 sets, collecting 78 kills, 19 service aces, and 13 blocks on the court.

Bonin is the second Golden Bear in program history to be recognized on the Conference of New England Community Service Team.
