BEVERLY, Mass. (November 15, 2025) – The women's hockey team drove to Beverly, Massachusetts, for game two of the weekend versus Endicott College. WNE's momentum joined them in Endicott as they scored 1:55 into the game. However, an Endicott power-play goal in the second evened out the score, and it all came down to the third period. The teams both scored a goal in the third, with Jenna Lynch netting WNE's goal to send the game to overtime tied at two. Gracyn Kurrle would be the hero for the Gulls in overtime, winning the game 3-2.

How it Happened:
First Period:
- The Golden Bears and Gulls started with Rachael Irving and Lauren Ferrari in goal, respectively.
- WNE got out to a quick start thanks to two shots from Ava Camelio and Gabbi Oakes' first career Golden Bear goal. Katie Collins sent the pass to Oakes across the crease for the goal. WNE led 1-0 at 1:55 into the contest.
- The teams traded shots for a little while. However, WNE was getting the majority of the chances.
- Lauren Ferrari had to make some big saves for the Gulls during the first period of play.
- Endicott ended the first with seven of the final eight shots. This time, it was Irving who had to make multiple saves to keep WNE in the lead, 1-0, going into the first intermission.
Second Period:
- The second period began with WNE starting on a 2:00 power play. However, WNE only had one shot during the power play chance.
- After a couple of Endicott shots, WNE had another power play, which yielded three shots saved by Ferrari.
- Endicott continued their momentum with 10 of the next 11 shots. Then, a WNE penalty led to a Lilly Corso power play goal for the Gulls. Jo Wimler and Ella Rago had the assists. The game was tied 1-1 with 8:29 left in the second.
- Endicott's momentum continued with three shots in a row after that before WNE responded with three of their own.
- WNE went on the power play with 5:38 remaining in the second. They had four shots but were unable to retake the lead.
- WNE concluded the second with five of the final eight shots, and the teams entered the final period of play tied at one.
Third Period:
- The teams began the third period fighting for the potential game-winning goal. Endicott had the first seven shots in a row. WNE then answered with eight of their own.
- Endicott was not phased as they had ten shots in a row after that. Irving made save after save, and the WNE defense kept jumping in front of shots.
- However, that tenth shot was an Endicott goal. 9:01 into the third, Eliza Barker scored off an assist from Maggie Holt. Endicott led 2-1.
- That lead would not last for long. WNE answered with a Jenna Lynch goal 1:02 later, and the game was tied 2-2.
- WNE's momentum rose, and they continued to get shots on goal. They would enter another power play with 6:59 left in the contest. They had five shots but no goal.
- Endicott had fourteen of the final sixteen shots but could not score, and the two rivals went to overtime tied at two.
Overtime:
- Valerie DuVal won the opening faceoff in overtime for WNE.
- However, it was Endicott who had the first shots. They had two shots, with Irving needing to save the second.
- The Golden Bears answered with a few shots, but Gracyn Kurrle scored the overtime winner for Endicott 2:12 into overtime. Abbey Agrodia and Jo Wimler had the assists for Endicott's goal.
- WNE fell 3-2 in overtime.
Inside the Crease:
- The Gulls defeated the Golden Bears 3-2 in overtime.
- 1st Period 1:55 – Gabbi Oakes scored off an assist from Katie Collins. WNE led 1-0.
- 2nd Period 11:31 – Lilly Corso scored a power play goal for the Gulls. Jo Wimler and Ella Rago assisted with the goal. WNE and Endicott were tied 1-1.
- 3rd Period 9:01 – Eliza Barker scored to give Endicott the 2-1 lead. Maggie Holt had the assist.
- 3rd Period 10:03 – Jenna Lynch scored 1:01 after the Gulls scored their second goal of the contest. The goal was unassisted, and the game was tied 2-2.
- OT Period 2:12 – Gracyn Kurrle scored to win the game for Endicott. Abbey Agrodia and Jo Wimler had the assists. Endicott won 3-2.
- Final Stats: Endicott led in shots on goal 38-30, faceoff wins 27-24, and was 1-1 on the power play. WNE led in saves, 35-28, and blocked shots, 19-8.
