BIDDEFORD, ME. (November 8, 2025) – The Golden Bears and Nor'Easters shared a sheet of ice for the first time this season in Biddeford, Maine. From the opening puck drop, the Nor'Easters overwhelmed the Golden Bears with shots and goals, which included five in the second period of play and four in the third. WNE would fall 11-0 at the end of the game, dropping to 0-3 on the season.

How it Happened:
First Period:
- Lochlan Lauer would get the nod in goal for the Golden Bears, with Harrison Chesney on the other end of the ice anchoring the UNE defense in goal.
- UNE started the contest with four shots in the opening 52 seconds. The final shot of that window was from Elias Juraj and gave UNE the 1-0 lead. Braxton Powers was credited with assisting the goal.
- The Nor'Easters had three more in the following 1:45, with the third shot being the second goal of the contest. Noah Szretter scored this goal. Ryan Hadland and Mike Tersoni were the players credited with the assists.
- UNE would keep threatening, but the Golden Bears held off the storm for the rest of the opening period of play. They had seven of the next nine shots and held WNE to a few wide shots and a couple of shots that Chasney saved.
- In the 13th minute, UNE started a 12-1 run on shots that lasted until the final minute of the first period when the Nor'Easters were called for a penalty.
- WNE had three shots during their power play, but UNE also had two on the short-handed chance.
- The first-period stats were as follows: UNE had more shots (30-9), shots on goal (17-5), faceoff wins (12-9), and penalties (1-0). WNE had more saves, 15-5.
Second Period:
- The second period saw UNE extend their lead by five.
- WNE failed to convert on the rest of the power play chances. Then, 1:22 into the second, Drew Olivieri scored off Jacob Pellerin and Noah Szretter's assists.
- Twenty-one seconds later, Jacob Pellerin scored to make the lead 4-0. Cam Bergeman and Noah Szretter assisted the goal.
- WNE tried to find momentum with three of the next four shots. However, 6:05 into the second period, Drew Olivieri found the back of the net off another Cam Bergeman assist. Dominic Murphy had the second assist on the goal. UNE led 5-0.
- The teams traded shots, with UNE having the majority of the goal-scoring chances. WNE was called for a penalty exactly halfway through the second period. UNE had four shots and a goal during the power play.
- 11:49 into the second, Elias Juraj scored a second goal, and both Nathan Chickering and Dominic Murphy picked up the assists. UNE led 6-0.
- The Nor'Easters had the following sixteen shots in a row. WNE could not get a shot on goal before Braxton Powers scored to lift UNE to a 7-0 lead. Ike Keller and Seth Murch had the assists.
- The second ended soon after, and the stats for the second were as follows: UNE led in shots 30-5, shots on goal 19-4, and faceoff wins 14-8. WNE led in saves 14-4 and penalties 1-0.
Third Period:
- UNE came out of the second intermission with even more intensity. They had eight shots in a row, and it resulted in a Ryan Hadland goal. Mike Tersoni and Aidan Curran were credited with assisting the goal. UNE had an 8-0 lead 2:34 into the final period of play.
- UNE had eleven more shots in a row after that. WNE was then called for a penalty, which resulted in three more shots from UNE and a goal. Ike Keller scored UNE's ninth goal. Elias Juraj and Drew Olivieri assisted the goal. UNE led 9-0 11:16 into the final period.
- Thirty-one seconds later, Brayden Cook found the back of the net for the Nor'Easters' tenth goal of the day. Noah Szretter had the lone assist. UNE led 10-0 with 8:13 left in the contest.
- UNE would accumulate four shots in a row after that, leading to the eleventh and final goal of the evening. Ryan Hadland scored. Aidan Curran and Chip Hamlett had the assists. UNE led 11-0 with 2:34 left in the game.
- UNE finished with four of the final five shots in the game. Philippe Longchamps had the lone WNE shot of the third period. Chasney made the save.

- UNE defeated WNE 11-0.
- 1st Period 0:52 – Elia Juraj scored off a Braxton Powers assist. UNE led 1-0.
- 1st Period 2:37 – Noah Szretter scored off assists from Ryan Hadland and Mike Tersoni. UNE led 2-0.
- 2nd Period 1:22 – Drew Olivieri tripled the UNE lead off assists from Jacob Pellerin and Noah Szretter. UNE led 3-0.
- 2nd Period 1:43 – Jacob Pellerin made the score 4-0 off assists from Cam Bergeman and Noah Szretter.
- 2nd Period 6:05 – Drew Olivieri scored off another Cam Bergeman assist, as well as an assist from Dominic Murphy. UNE led 5-0.

- 2nd Period 18:42 – Braxton Powers scored off assists from Ike Keller and Seth Murch to add to the lead and make it 7-0.
- 3rd Period 2:34 – Ryan Hadland scored to give UNE an 8-0 lead off Mike Tersoni and Aidan Curran assist.
- 3rd Period 11:16 – Ike Keller found the back of the net off assists from Elias Juraj and Drew Olivieri. UNE led 9-0.
- 3rd Period 11:47 – Brayden Cook scored off a Noah Szretter assist. UNE led 10-0.
- 3rd Period 17:26 – Ryan Hadland scored a second goal off assists from Aidan Curran and Chip Hamlett to improve UNE's lead to 11-0.
- Final stats: UNE had more shots on goal, 59-10, and more faceoff wins, 36-24. WNE had more penalties 2-1, saves 48-10, and blocked shots 6-1.
