Coach's Corner:
Head Coach Nicki Chaszar was asked what she is seeing out of the team that is leading to improvements on the court and then what impressed coach about all of the impressive performances today, including the 24 points from
Hannah Blake. "We had multiple players put up great numbers today.
Hannah Blake had a tremendous performance and was almost flawless around the rim. Paige, Sophie, and Lottia each being close to double-doubles really shows how competitive and locked in we were on the offensive end. Overall it felt like one of our most complete team efforts of the season and a great way for us to close out the semester," Chaszar stated.
Hannah Blake was also interviewed and asked first, what worked for her on the court that led to the 24 points. "The team ran the offense very effectively and put me in good positions to score. I got some solid looks early on and my teammates continuously allowed me to take shots where I feel confident." Second, she was asked what she liked about the team's performance overall. "I think we were really good at sharing the ball and playing as a cohesive unit. Westfield pressured us well and we were able to stay patient and find the open man. We have trust in every person on our team to do the job and today showed that!"
