HILTON HEAD, S.C . (March 14, 2025) – The Western New England women's tennis fell in their final match of the spring break schedule against the Red Dragons of SUNY Oneonta, falling 6-1 in non-conference play.

How it Happened:
The Golden Bears would be unable to register the first point of the match in doubles action, falling in all three rounds.
Emma Miller and
Sydney Shepard would drop a competitive 6-3 match while
Kelsey Wyse and
Leina Salomon would come up just short, a 7-5 loss to Kelly Hayes and Jaila Killingbeck.
In singles action, it would be
Leina Salomon who came away with a tiebreaking first set victory, 7-6 (7-0) followed by a 6-4 victory in the sixth singles spot, Western New England's lone victory of the match.
Kelsey Wyse fell just short for the blue and gold, dropping a 4-
66 7-6 (7-5), 12-10 decision.
Sydney Shepard,
Gianna Arace,
Kayla Ledoux, and
Gabrielle Tirkot would all compete for the Golden Bears on the afternoon.
