56 Student-Athletes Inducted by Western New England into Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 6, 2025) – On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the WNE Athletics Department and Western New England University inducted 56 Golden Bear student-athletes from 17 sports into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society.

As the 2024-2025 academic calendar comes to a close, the Western New England University Athletics Department held its annual Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society induction ceremony on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in the Downes Athletic Hall of Fame room. The Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society inducts and sheds light on student-athletes who excel on and off the field. To be inducted, the student-athletes must maintain a 3.4 grade point average or above through their senior year. The candidates selected must be endorsed by the coach of their respective sports for displaying high leadership qualities and having good moral character.
