BEVERLY, Mass. (September 29, 2025) – The Western New England women's tennis team dropped a Conference of New England match on Monday afternoon to the Gulls of Endicott College, falling 7-0 in a match that featured straight set sweeps.

- Endicott College: 3-2, 2-1 CNE
How it Happened:
In doubles action, the duo of
Sydney Shepard and
Lauren Bilodeau came up with a 6-0 loss in the second pairing, while
Yasmine Giacalone and
Kayla Ledoux dropped a 6-3 match as Endicott took the opening point of the match. In the top doubles match,
Emma Miller and
Malina Dinis were tied 5-5 with Endicott's Jillian Freidman and Nadia Uzelac, but the Gulls' duo picked up the final two games of the match, picking up the 7-5 win.
Endicott came away with wins in straight sets over the Golden Bears in singles play.
Emma Miller fell in the top spot after a pair of three-set matches last week, falling 6-2, 6-4.
Malina Dinis earned three points in her first set but dropped a 6-3, 6-0 decision.
Sydney Shepard (6-0, 6-2),
Lauren Bilodeau (6-2, 6-2),
Yasmine Giacalone (6-0, 6-2), and
Kayla Ledoux (6-1, 6-1) fought hard, but ultimately fell in their respective singles matches as Endicott ran away with a 7-0 victory over the Golden Bears for their 19
th straight win over WNE all-time.
