Kayla Ledoux went the distance in the third singles match for the Golden Bears, battling tough.

In doubles action, Western New England fell quickly.
Emma Miller and
Elise Catlett dropped a 6-1 decision in the top pairing. WNE's second pair of
Yasmine Giacalone and
Kayla Ledoux fell by a 6-2 score. The third pair saw
Leina Salomon and
Gabrielle Tirkot drop a 6-1 match, as the Golden Bears fell behind 1-0 in the match.
In singles play, Mount Union would prove to be too much for the Blue and Gold squad. Miller took a 6-1, 6-1 defeat in the top spot, while Giacalone a 6-2, 6-2 loss in the second spot. The third singles match was the highlight of the day for the Golden Bears, who saw
Kayla Ledoux win the opening set 6-4 before dropping a 6-2 decision in set two, which forced an extra set, seeing Mount Union's Emily Peel notch a 10-2 victory to take the match in three sets.
