Records:
  • Western New England: 3-13
  • Albany State University: 2-8
  • Baldwin Wallace University: 7-2
How it Happened (vs. Albany State University):

The Golden Rams came away with the opening point in doubles action, taking wins in the top two spots. Western New England earned a forfeit victory in the third position, with Leina Salomon and Gabrielle Tirkot taking the win. Emma Miller and Elise Catlett were bested in the top doubles pairing, 6-1, while Yasmine Giacalone and Kayla Ledoux picked up two points in the second doubles match, but fell 6-2.

In singles action, Albany State defeated the Golden Bears in the first three matches, winning 6-0, 6-0 over Emma Miller in the top position, 6-0, 6-1 against Yasmine Giacalone in the second position, and 6-0, 6-0 over Kayla Ledoux in the third singles spot. Elise Catlett earned Western New England its first victory of the morning, taking the fourth singles match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1. Leina Salomon's fifth-position singles matches went the distance in the opening set, falling 7-6, before dropping the second set on a 7-5 score. Gabrielle Tirkot earned a forfeit victory in the sixth singles position, earning WNE another point in the match, but it would not be enough to overcome the Golden Rams, seeing Albany State pick up a 5-2 victory over WNE.

How it Happened (vs. Baldwin Wallace University):
The Yellow Jackets came away with the win in doubles action after WNE had just five healthy players in the nightcap. BWU won both matches by 6-3 finals, seeing the duo of Emma Miller and Elise Catlett and Yasmine Giacalone and Kayla Ledoux fall.

The Golden Bears fell short in singles action, despite valiant efforts from all players. Kayla Ledoux's third position singles match ended up being the closest of the five matches played, needing a tiebreaker in the opening set and a 6-4 score in a close second set to round out the night.
