HILTON HEAD, S.C. (March 9, 2026) – The Western New England men's tennis team came up short on Monday afternoon in the second of four matches in Hilton Head, South Carolina, defeated by the Pfeiffer University Falcons, 7-0.

How it Happened:
The Golden Bears couldn't pick up a win in doubles action as
Nolan Jermain and
Joshua Marx fell in the third doubles spot,
Eston Fowler and
Quinn Northrop in the second doubles spot, and
Michel Abizaid Nunez and
Colby Esposito in the top doubles spot. The Golden Bears trailed 1-0 after the doubles round.
In singles action, Pfeiffer used strong play to sweep the Golden Bears in straight sets in all six matches.
Kyle Poccia played the closest match of the day, falling 6-2, 7-5 in the sixth singles match.
Eston Fowler took two games for the Golden Bears in the third singles spot, but dropped 6-2, 6-2 decisions.
